Fair Haven Christian School, a ministry of Fair Haven Baptist Church, has been in operation since 1975 offering grades K-3 through 12th.
The school is supported entirely by tuition, contributions and fundraising.
The atmosphere offers a wonderful tool to aid families in the proper rearing of children. In the early years, reading skills are considered our primary concern. By the end of the first grade our students are reading quite well. As they grow, a major emphasis is placed on keeping them focused with a God Consciousness along with their academic courses.
The primary objectives include:
- Providing families with an alternative, Christ Centered "Christian" education
- Providing basic skills instruction
- Providing character training
- Teaching young people to love and respect these United States
- Challenging every student, and their families, to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and to become active in their local church.
These efforts are in no way intended to replace the responsibility of the home.
The pledge of the school is to provide an absolutely safe, drug free, well disciplined environment in which children will receive the best combination of academic, character, and spiritual training.
Fair Haven, a member of the WV Christian Education Association, is properly registered with the State Superintendent of Schools of the W.V. Department of Education, operating under the provisions of Exemption K, Article 8, Chapter 18 and is in compliance with provisions of Article 28, Chapter 18, of the Code of W.V.
